Matcha Covered Strawberries

Matcha Covered Strawberries By Haley

I mentioned in my last post; Health Trend Forecast matcha would be an even bigger deal this year. I recently saw these beautiful matcha covered strawberries on Shay Mitchell’s Instagram story and knew I had to make them. I definitely will be making these again for friends and family for the springtime. Oh, and let me say, they taste so good!!

Recipe

  • Melt white chocolate chips ( I used a whole bag of Lily’s white baking chips)
    • Microwave for about a 1 min- 1 min & 15 seconds (I took it out every 15 seconds to stir)
  • Optional: pour a little out to use as a white drizzle (I suggest putting it into a zip lock baggy and cutting the corner)
  • Mix in 2 tsp of matcha (I used GOLDE pure matcha)
  • Wash strawberries and dry thoroughly
  • Dip strawberries and put them on a tray (I put toothpicks going vertically into the strawberry from the stem for better control)
  • Optional: Drizzle on the white chocolate you put aside earlier
  • Once all the strawberries are dipped, put them into the freezer for about 20 min

I hope you enjoy these matcha covered strawberries. Be sure to tag @hangingwithhaley if you make them! Until next time, thanks for Hanging With Haley.

healthy what I eat while attending school online By Haley

During quarantine, I got into a good and healthy eating routine while being at home. I originally wrote this post during summer (but didn’t post). However, surprisingly this post is still on point for being healthy while attending Zoom University (thank you, COVID).

I have truly been listening to my body during this crazy time and eating intuitively! I eat what my body is craving, however, I try to swap out certain foods for healthier alternatives.

Morning Skinny Feeling

I am sure many people love waking up and starting their day feeling their best. The term “morning skinny” may even run through your brain. However, the body fluctuates so we don’t always wake up with that light morning skinny feeling. I thought I would share some top tips for waking up debloated and gaining that light morning skinny feeling!

There are many factors that play into waking up and not feeling debloated and light. Many times, for me, it is due to what I ate the night before. If I have a lot of salt… you bet I am going to wake to look like a blown up pufferfish lol (especially in my face UGH). So what exactly do I do to”debloat” in the morning?

Staying Lean and Achieving Your Health Goals

Featuring: Aunt Carla

I have learned a lot about health and wellness over the years from other bloggers, YouTubers, nutritionists, podcasts, and books. However, I have learned a great deal for my Aunt Carla. Whenever I see her, we deep dive into new health and fitness things, we have been doing, and she knows a lot! She is extremely fit, lives a healthy lifestyle, and is a total badass (oh and did I mention a mom of 2 sets of twin boys!). I thought it would be interesting to interview her and share some of the tips she has shared with me over the years.
