I mentioned in my last post; Health Trend Forecast matcha would be an even bigger deal this year. I recently saw these beautiful matcha covered strawberries on Shay Mitchell’s Instagram story and knew I had to make them. I definitely will be making these again for friends and family for the springtime. Oh, and let me say, they taste so good!!
Recipe
- Melt white chocolate chips ( I used a whole bag of Lily’s white baking chips)
- Microwave for about a 1 min- 1 min & 15 seconds (I took it out every 15 seconds to stir)
- Optional: pour a little out to use as a white drizzle (I suggest putting it into a zip lock baggy and cutting the corner)
- Mix in 2 tsp of matcha (I used GOLDE pure matcha)
- Wash strawberries and dry thoroughly
- Dip strawberries and put them on a tray (I put toothpicks going vertically into the strawberry from the stem for better control)
- Optional: Drizzle on the white chocolate you put aside earlier
- Once all the strawberries are dipped, put them into the freezer for about 20 min
I hope you enjoy these matcha covered strawberries. Be sure to tag @hangingwithhaley if you make them! Until next time, thanks for Hanging With Haley.
